First ever Freeview HD and DVD recorder
[System Reviews» News and reviews of PC systems] The DMR-EH60 is the first ever hard drive and DVD recorder to feature a digital TV tuner - required for picking up Freeview’s 50-odd TV and radio stations - instead of an old skool analogue tuner.

[HD Beat] There aren't that many standalone HD PVR units out there yet, although this is clearly a growing segment. With so few choices, the standalones are much more expensive and can't compete with the integrated set-top receiver and recorder.

HDTV PVR poll results

SnapStream Media Announces Beyond TV 4
[Gadget News] No doubt HDTV support will be the thing that causes the greatest excitement, but given how few people actually have HDTV right now, I’m thinking that DivX support is really the best new feature. Beyond TV 4 will enable you to watch live TV while recording direct to DivX format and will come with the necessary encoders and decoders.
