 [Gadgetell - The Tech News, Reviews, and Interesting Things Blog] This builds on 4INFO’s ability to deliver sports scores, yellow page listings, stock quotes, movie times, hotel reservations, weather forecasts, horoscopes, flight status, package tracking, fantasy sports, drink recipes, and yes, even pickup lines. So this solves the problem of how to get the girl but why can’t we have a DVR in the U.S. that is programmable over your phone.

TiVo Series3 Photos Leaked

[ Zatz Not Funny. . .] most cable companies provide their customers, I can see this is going to be a huge challenge for TiVo. I can imagine lots of people will give up and return it rather than go through this level of hassle to get it running.

“A quantum leap in DVR technology as we know it.”

 [BrandBrains] He told me about the famous “2-4-3-Zones” button sequence that pulls up the advanced menu options and showed me how to delete both of the corrupt files, then replace them by reconnecting with the ReplayTV servers. It seemed to work at first but sadly, the problem has just started again.

Living Room PC - still a long way off

Thomas Hawk claims otherwise, and goes into some detail on how the combination of XBOX 360’s and new TV tuner card-equipped Vista PC’s will finally deliver on the vision.

SL vs manual repeated recordings ?

 [DBSTalk.Com] Not having to worry if the SL goes bad and stops working like they sometimes do, wont have any more duplicate recordings,:) wont have to worry about any more updates to fix the SL first run logic, etc... Any downsides:confused: I haven't seen ?...
