PVRLib > An entire season in one glorious night
[TV Squad] I actually watched all 4 seasons of Alias and the first season of Veronica Mars this summer...Im currently working on Lost season 1...I never sat in front of the tv for a whole season tho...24 hours straight...I couldnt do that...I have watched at most probably 5-6 episodes a day. Summer is such a great time to catch up on tv...screw watching reruns or reality show that I have no interest in.

[Starting Next Monday...] The TV List: I am a bit embarrassed to say that I watch this but”¦ I love super hero stuff. When I was a kid that is all I played with, and I loved the cartoons on Saturday.
[Lawyers, Guns and Money] Random TV Notes: Most importantly, the series has not seen the need of inventing new characters or of cutting out particularly important historical ones. The writers have, cleverly, channelled much of their creativity into a pair of soldiers who have only left us their names, but manage to be part of every great event that involves Caesar, Antony, and the rest.
[Recordingtelevision.com] regarding recording television: THE WAR AT HOME (Fox, Sunday nights) - is this show real? did i actually spend 22 minutes watching this?
[Ray.camdenfamily.com] Slow posting and Random TV Topics : Raymond Camden's ColdFusion Blog: have you heard the internet ramblings about how Desmond's area looked entirely different up until the second that they blasted the hatch? They never showed his face until the blast, then the record skips, and all the sudden everything is dark and dusty and old looking, also people have screenshots of the record player changing models drastically (metal to wood) and lamps changing and moving.

[Reviews.cnet.com] Alpha - Blog.CNET.com - CNET.com: Hang on to your antenna Nobody really thought that Congress would end up enforcing the 2006 turn-off deadline for analog television broadcasts, but now it's semiofficial: the new blackout date will be 2009, according to proposed legislation. At the end of 2008, so the story goes, all TV broadcasters will turn off their over-the-air analog transmissions and leave the spectrum free to be auctioned off--although a good portion will supposedly be used for emergency broadcasts and homeland security.
[Dvrdiva.blogspot.com] The DVR Diva: (sorry NBC, that means that I am not watching either of the Apprentices) The DVR helps because I am not sucked into watching something just because that is the only thing on tv. I also can put up with the drama when it comes with a feel-good ending (although on ANTM it's mostly just Springer drama with some cool photo shoots).
[Olympus_mons.typepad.com] (Polk)Modern: It simultaneously brings much needed closure, and leaves you wanting more (if anyone from Fox should happen to come across this blog, please note that using an episode intended to be a pilot as some kind of closer really isn't a good idea). The movie also remains true to the spirit of the show, which was always mostly about its characters, their relationships to each other, and the expression of both in shiny dialogue, but without sacrificing opportunities afforded by a bigger budget and bigger screen or forsaking new audiences (at least I imagine that it would appeal to just about anyone who felt letdown or cheated by the Star Wars prequels or the more unambitious of the Trek films, such as, for example;
