[ Zatz Not Funny. . .] SnapStream says: With Windows XP and the hardware drivers installed on the Mac mini, it was time to convert the Mac mini into a PVR! We had to choose a few small USB 2.0 TV tuner cards, one HD and one SD, so we wouldn’t lose the space savings gained by using the Mac mini.

That said, it looks like the good folks over at SnapStream - makers of Beyond TV 4 - decided to jump on board the mini as PVR bandwagon by installing Windows XP (via BootCamp) and subsequently installing BeyondTV 4 (via Zatz Not Funny). [Oreillynet.com] Mac mini musings - O'Reilly Mac DevCenter Blog: If the mini Macs met Apple's HD guidelines, and were no more expensive than they already are (which is on the upper edge of what I'm willing to pay), then I'd be getting a gigabit ethernet switch and a mini just as soon as I had seen for myself the quality of the video output to a decent HDTV display (something like a 42" plasma unit). This misses that mark by a fair amount.

Sure, you can get USB tuners and small external add-ons at present, but if you want multiple-channel recording, you're going to need a bigger boat, as the saying goes...
