[TV Squad] The return of Jim to the Scranton branch on The Office: I'll admit that I was beginning to lose my love for the NBC comedy at the beginning of the season. With Jim over in Stamford the show just didn't have the same feel to it.

[Time.blogs.com] TIME.com: Tuned In - TV Blog Archives - Too Much Television on TV ...: The irony: during the years that Zucker was actually the programming head of NBC TV, he demonstrated little taste or commercial success, coasting on the network's established hits, creating few new ones and setting the network up to slump after hits like Friends and Frasier went off the air. But hey, if you can't succeed by developing TV shows, then succeed by killing them!
[Featuresblogs.chicagotribune.com] Chicago Tribune | The Watcher: The shows writers have done a wise thing by making Karen (Rashida Jones), a Stamford-ite whos attracted to Jim and who makes the move to Scranton, a likable and credible potential love interest. Still, the potential weirdness among those three is far from the only enjoyable thing about the merger episode: You could call the increasingly vicious verbal battles between Dwight (Rainn Wilson) and Stamford-ite Andy (Ed Helms) a battle of wits, but by the end, theyre like two snotty 12-year-olds having it out on the playground.
[Blogs.usatoday.com] Early buzz: '24,' Waits, 'Studio 60,' more - Pop Candy - USATODAY.com: However, I am disappointed that you never even mentioned in your column about the passing of R&B singer Gerald Levert on Friday which occurred early enough in the day to be included in your column. One little blurb and/or mention out of respect for the powerful performer he was and the contributions he and his father (Eddie Levert, one of the founding members of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inducted group the mighty O'Jays)have made in the industry (mostly the african american community I suspect) would have been appreciated by his fans.
[Friedricethoughts.blogspot.com] Fried Rice Thoughts: have been waiting for all season, so big that NBC "super-sized" the episode, and promoted the hell out it of all week: the reunion of Jim and Pam, following the merger of the Scranton and Stamford branches of Dunder-Mifflin.
