 [Gizmodo.com] TiVo Wins Emmy, Deserves It - Gizmodo: I have used dual-tuner HDTV PVR's from my cable companies (Comcast and Cablevision) for two years, and although they both have pluses and minues, the dual-tuners, lossless video recording, and dolby digital sound for the same price as a monthly TiVo subscription (MINUS hardware cost and phone line connections), make the cable offering a no-brainer.

I understand there are adapters that allow you to hook up to broadband and such, but I haven't been able to get a clear answer (from TiVo, Cablevision, or any of the many TiVo forums I've googled) on whether or not Tivo will work with Optimum Voice.
